YOU NEED NOT BE ABLE TO DRAW
Once you understand how simple these are to make you can create your own assorted patterns easily.
Such patterns as these are made using the same method you probably used as a child to make hearts and snowflakes.
EXAMPLE: Draw your pattern (use newspaper, butcher paper etc. for large patterns) choose the better half you have drawn; fold the paper down the middle and crease. Cut out your pattern, which will then be perfectly symmetric! To enhance your design you can fold some more and snip with your scissors, it's just like making snowflakes; use this concept to make a garden gate or Faux Architecture.
