SIMPLE STAR - beginner concepts

SIMPLE STAR

This wonderful star can be made any length. Freehand its design for multiple purposes! (Throw a little glitter on to wet paint for sparkle!)

Stars are great for multiple purposes; one of their great assets in window painting lies in their ability to offset unevenness. Another virtue is their ability to compensate over uncovered areas of glass by expanding the area of design. (Too they will allow you to replicate a color your working with, or to bring in more colors.) Generally use an odd number of stars (three will look better than two or four)if they are prominent. (X's will make twinkles too, add a twinkle to an eye etc.) I use a striper brush for stars or the edge of a throwaway foam brush; there are a lot of brushes that will work.
