FLOWER POWER beginner concepts
*They’re back, new Barbie doll type flowers…..from the 1960’s* SIMPLE AND COOL!
INSTRUCTIONS
The pattern complete on the two pages is designed to create three separate flowers (rather than a single one with three colors on each petal) (1) Tape or glue the two pages together. (2) Tape the complete pattern to the back of the window so that the pattern is seen on the side that you will be drawing it on. (3) Trace on to the glass one of the three sizes of flower. (4) Move pattern around creating the assorted sizes. OR…INSTEAD Cut out and trace one of each size of petal onto a piece of foam or sponge, also cut out a center for your flower and press it with paint onto the glass or wall with your petals around it into a flowery circle.

Now that you know how simple it is you will probably find it easier to make your own petal(s). WANT BIGGER FLOWERS? You can always cut a template from a piece of cardboard or newspaper, etc. ……. Or…DRAW THEM ON BY HAND!!!…… With very little help children can achieve super results with sponges. The patterns offered here are highly stylized, very Barbie or very 60’s depending on which generation will view them, and also on the surrounding décor. In either case I would recommend using a fluorescent paint for effect. (Wonderful under black lights) If the desired effects are not so exacting then you need not be either… You may want to use the flower pattern as an accent, to enhance some other accomplishment, on a window or wall etc.
